plectin

plectin
plec·tin (plekґtin) a 500-kD homodimeric protein chemically related to the plakins, which attaches intermediate filaments to hemidesmosomes and plasma membranes; mutations in the gene for producing plectin causes a type of epidermolysis bullosa simplex.
