- pith·o·my·co·tox·i·co·sis (pith″o-mi″ko-tok″sĭ-koґsis) a form of mycotoxicosis in animals from ingestion of fungi of the genus Pithomyces, resulting in liver damage and facial eczema of ruminants (see under eczema).
