phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride
[USP] the hydrochloride salt of phenylpropanolamine, applied topically as a vasoconstrictor to decongest mucous membranes and administered orally to produce bronchodilation in the symptomatic control of allergic manifestations. It is also used in the treatment of stress incontinence and as an anorexic.
