pericarditis secondary to tuberculosis, characterized by effusion of fluid containing fibrin, blood, and sometimes caseous debris, thick shaggy deposits of fibrin, pericardial friction rub, and adhesion of the pericardial layers; it often results in chronic constrictive pericarditis.
