pe·mir·o·last po·tas·sium (pə-mirґo-last″) a mast cell stabilizer that inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators from mast cells and eosinophils and inhibits type I hypersensitivity reactions; administered topically to the conjunctiva to prevent pruritus associated with allergic conjunctivitis.
