nucleus globosus
[TA] globose nucleus: a cerebellar nucleus that lies between the emboliform nucleus and the nucleus fastigii and projects its fibers via the superior cerebellar peduncle (brachium conjunctivum). It is the term preferred in official terminology when considering humans, and is frequently also used to describe nonhuman primates. Cf. n. interpositus posterior.
