surfers' nodules
hyperplastic, fibrosing, sometimes ulcerated granulomas 1 to 3 cm in diameter, occurring over bony prominences of the feet and legs of surfers as a result of repeated trauma from kneeling on surfboards. Called also surfers' knobs.
