comedo nevus
nevus comedonicus a rare type of epidermal nevus characterized by aggregations of dilated keratin-filled hair follicles, producing large cutaneous patches covered with comedo-like lesions. The usual location is on the trunk, an upper limb, or the neck, and it may be in a linear or zosteriform pattern. It is occasionally associated with other conditions such as ichthyosis, certain carcinomas, vascular nevi, or cataracts.
