- lumbosacral radiculoplexus neuropathy
- a syndrome of pain, muscle weakness, and mild sensory deficits, generally worsening at night, that affects the lower limb. It is caused by ischemic injury to the lumbosacral plexus and nerve roots secondary to microvasculitis and occurs most commonly as a complication of diabetes mellitus. Called also lumbosacral radiculoplexopathy.
