myxameba: myx·ame·ba (miks″ə-meґbə) [myx- + ameba] a uninucleate, naked, free-living ameboid cell without either cilia or flagella produced from a spore, which aggregates and fuses with other myxamebas to form a plasmodium or aggregates without fusion to form a pseudoplasmodium.
