hemifacial microsomia

hemifacial microsomia
a craniofacial malformation consisting of unilateral mandibular hypoplasia, macrostomia, and ear deformities, often associated with ocular and vertebral anomalies (oculoauriculovertebral spectrum, for which this term is sometimes used synonymously). Most cases are sporadic, but instances of autosomal dominant or recessive inheritance have been reported.
