Mathevotaenia
Ma·the·vo·tae·nia (mə-thevo-teґne-ə) a genus of tapeworms of the family Anoplocephalidae. The species M. symmeґtrica is a cosmopolitan intestinal parasite of rodents, with insects as intermediate hosts; it has been reported in human infections in Thailand.
