plasmablastic lymphoma

an uncommon, aggressive B-cell lymphoma, occurring mainly in the jaws and oral cavity and chiefly affecting HIV-positive persons, characterized by cells that morphologically resemble those of immunoblastic large B-cell lymphoma but whose immunophenotype shows them to be of plasma cell differentiation.
