ligamentum pubovesicale
[TA] pubovesical ligament: a ligament that extends from the bladder neck to the inferior aspect of the pubic bones. In the female it is divided into two distinct parts (see l. mediale pubovesicale and l. laterale pubovesicale). In the male it is parallel and medial to the puboprostatic ligament and is sometimes called also medial puboprostatic ligament or l. mediale puboprostaticum [TA alternative].
