chronic myelomonocytic leukemia

chronic myelomonocytic leukemia
a slowly progressing form of chronic leukemia that is myelomonocytic in nature and usually affects the elderly; sometimes it progresses to acute myelomonocytic leukemia. Symptoms include splenomegaly, monocytosis with granulocytosis, and thrombocytopenia.
