- 1. the concentric circumvascular fibrosis often found in the spleen and lymph nodes in systemic lupus erythematosus. 2. concentric layers of myointimal cells and collagen, causing luminal narrowing, seen in the interlobular arteries and arterioles of the kidney in malignant hypertension, microangiopathies, and scleroderma. Called also hyperplastic arteriolitis.
