Leishmania panamensis

Leishmania panamensis
a species, of the subgenus Viannia, transmitted chiefly by Lutzomyia trapidoi and causing New World cutaneous leishmaniasis in Panama and adjacent areas of Central America and Colombia. It is considered to be part of the L. guyanensis complex.
