ocular larva migrans

ocular larva migrans
infection of the eye with nematode larvae, usually Toxocara canis or T. cati. The larvae may lodge in the choroid or retina or migrate to the vitreous; when they die there, a granulomatous inflammation occurs. The resulting lesion may vary from simply a translucent elevation of the retina to massive retinal detachment and pseudoglioma.
