krimp·siek·te (krimp-zēkґte) [Afrikaans] a disease of cattle in South Africa caused by poisoning with any of several plant species of the genus Cotyledon, which contain cotyledontoxin; symptoms include abdominal pain and convulsions that can be fatal.
