inophragma
ino·phrag·ma (in″o-fragґmə) [ino- + Gr. phragmos a fencing in] ground membrane; a name given to the Z band and M band (q.q.v.) because they continue uninterruptedly as transverse membranes through all the adjoining fibrils of a muscle fiber. See mesophragma and telophragma.
