ichthyosis hystrix
[L. hysґtrix porcupine] any of several rare autosomal dominant skin disorders in which large areas of the skin have wartlike growths that are sometimes pointed to resemble porcupine quills; some types are severe forms of epidermolytic hyperkeratosis.
