follicular hyperplasia

follicular hyperplasia
a form of chronic lymphadenitis, characterized by expansion of the germinal centers, which contain large numbers of rapidly proliferating lymphocytes in various stages of differentiation and histiocytes containing phagocytized debris; morphologically, it can resemble follicular lymphoma.
