hyperostosis corticalis deformans juvenilis
an autosomal recessive disorder beginning in childhood and marked by multiple fractures and bowing of all extremities, by thickening of the frontal, parietal, and occipital bones, by osteoporosis, and by elevated concentrations of serum alkaline phosphatase and of urinary hydroxyproline. Called also juvenile Paget disease, chronic congenital idiopathic hyperphosphatasemia, and familial osteoectasia.
