bacillary hemoglobinuria
an infectious, often fatal toxemic disease of cattle and sometimes sheep, caused by Clostridium haemolyticum; it is marked by anorexia, fever, bloody diarrhea, dark red urine, anemia, and hemoglobinuria. Called also bovine h. and redwater disease.
