facial height posterior

facial height posterior
a quite variable measure of the linear height of the face in the region of the ear. The most common measure is between a point on the inferior border of the mandible, generally the gonion, and the condylare, sella, or a point defined as the center facial point. Other measurements of height exist, some involving lines of intersection drawn between major facial planes. See illustration.
