guanfacine hydrochloride
guan·fa·cine hy·dro·chlo·ride (gwahnґfə-sēn) [USP] an α2-adrenergic agonist that stimulates the α2-adrenergic receptors of the central nervous system, resulting in a reduction of sympathetic outflow to the heart and peripheral vascular system, used as an antihypertensive; administered orally.
