perforating folliculitis

perforating folliculitis
a type of acquired perforating dermatosis in which hair follicles are associated with small, discrete, erythematous papules with a keratotic plug. It occurs most often on the upper arms, buttocks, and thighs of young adults and in diabetics receiving hemodialysis; lesions have a central hair or a central umbilication containing keratinous material, and the Koebner phenomenon may occur.
