Pel-Ebstein fever

Pel-Ebstein fever
a cyclic fever occasionally seen in Hodgkin disease or certain other diseases, characterized by irregular episodes of pyrexia of several days' duration, with intervening afebrile periods lasting for days or weeks. Called also Murchison-Pel-Ebstein f.
