fascia rectoprostatica [TA] a membranous partition separating the rectum from the prostate and urinary bladder; this structure in the male corresponds to the fascia rectovaginalis in the female. Called also Denonvilliers or Tyrrell f. and septum rectovesicale [TA alternative].
