Mental Status Examination

Mental Status Examination
(MSE) a component of the medical examination comprising the systematic evaluation of the mental status of the patient, including appearance, psychomotor behavior, speech, thinking and perception, emotional state including affect and mood, insight and judgment, intelligence, sensorium, attention and concentration, and memory.
