ephedrine sulfate
[USP] the sulfate salt of ephedrine, used as a bronchodilator and nasal decongestant in asthma and allergy and to counteract hypotension secondary to spinal or infiltration anesthesia, sympathectomy, and overdose of adrenergic blocking agents, ganglionic blocking agents, or other drugs that lower blood pressure; administered orally, parenterally, or intranasally.
