nonneuronal enolase
an isozyme of enolase found in normal astrocytes, ependymal cells, arachnoid cap cells, Schwann cells, and vascular endothelial cells; it serves as a marker for astrocytoma, ependymoma, meningioma, neurilemoma, and oligodendroglioma.
