- Lцffler fibroplastic parietal endocarditis endocarditis associated with eosinophilia, marked by fibroplastic thickening of the endocardium, and resulting in congestive heart failure, persistent tachycardia, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, serous effusions into the pleural cavity, edema of the lower limbs, and edema and ascites of the upper limbs; called also constrictive e. and eosinophilic endomyocardial disease.
