Fukuyama type congenital muscular dystrophy

Fukuyama type congenital muscular dystrophy
an autosomal recessive type of muscular dystrophy evident in infancy; muscle abnormalities resemble those of Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and patients are mentally retarded with polymicrogyria and other cerebral abnormalities. Called also Fukuyama syndrome.
