dolichol phosphate
a phosporylated form that serves a carrier for the oligosaccharide precursor (attached to the phosphate group) in N-linked glycosylation; transfer of the assembled precursor to the asparagine residue of the polypeptide chain is catalyzed by oligosaccharyltransferase.
