Thiemann disease

Thiemann disease
familial avascular necrosis of the phalangeal epiphysis, beginning in childhood or adolescence and resulting in deformity of the interphalangeal joints; called also familial osteoarthropathy of fingers. Similar lesions may occur in the great toes and first tarsometatarsal joints, in which case the disorder is known as osteochondritis ossis metacarpi et metatarsi.
