KÑŒmmell disease
KÑŒmmell-Verneuil disease compression fracture of vertebra; a complex of symptoms coming on in a few weeks after spinal injury, and consisting of pain in the spine, intercostal neuralgia, motor disturbances of the legs, and a gibbus of the spine which is painful on pressure and easily reduced by extension. Called also posttraumatic spondylitis.
