Ebola disease

Ebola disease
Ebola virus disease an acute, often fatal, type of hemorrhagic fever seen in Central Africa, caused by the Ebola virus; symptoms include fever, prostration, hemorrhagic manifestations, pancreatitis, and hepatitis. The natural reservoir and mode of transmission of the virus are unknown, but secondary infection is by direct contact with infected blood and other body secretions and by airborne particles.
