Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease new variant
(nvCJD) a variant of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease occurring almost exclusively in the United Kingdom, having a younger age of onset than is seen in Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, and caused by the same agent that causes bovine spongiform encephalopathy.
