dihydrolipoyllysine-residue (2-methylpropanoyl)transferase
- dihydrolipoyllysine-residue (2-methylpropanoyl)transferase
- di·hy·dro·lip·o·yl·lys·ine-res·i·due (2-meth·yl·pro·pa·no·yl)·trans·fer·ase (di-hi″dro-lip″o-əl-liґsēn rezґĭ-doo meth″əl-pro″pənoґəl transґfər-ās) [EC 2.3.1.168] an enzyme of the transferase class that is a component of the multienzyme branched-chain α-keto acid dehydrogenase complex (q.v.). The enzyme catalyzes the transfer of the decarboxylated branched-chain acyl moiety to coenzyme A via its own lipoyl group.
