CTP synthase

CTP synthase
CTP syn·thase (sinґthās) [EC 6.3.4.2] an enzyme of the transferase class that catalyzes the transfer of an amino group to UTP to form CTP, using glutamine or ammonia as a donor. The reaction is part of pyrimidine nucleotide biosynthesis.
