Chlamydophila pneumoniae

Chlamydophila pneumoniae
a species, containing several biovars, that is primarily a respiratory pathogen and an important cause of pneumonia, bronchitis, and sinusitis. Formerly called Chlamydia pneumoniae. See also Chlamydophila pneumoniae pneumonia, under pneumonia.
