carboxyltransferase
car·box·yl·trans·fer·ase (kahr-bok″səl-transґfər-ās) a term used in the names of some enzymes of the sub-subclass carbamoyltransferases and carboxyltransferases [EC 2.1.3] to denote those that catalyze transfer of a carboxyl group from a donor compound to an acceptor one. Called also transcarboxylase.
