bou·fйe dй·li·rante (boo-faґ da-le-rahntґ) [Fr. “delirious outburst”] a reactive psychosis resembling schizophrenia but having a duration of less than three months and a favorable prognosis. It is roughly the French counterpart to schizophreniform disorder.
