the birth of two or more offspring produced in the same gestation period, the frequency of birth of viable offspring after such multiple pregnancy having been computed as follows: twins, 1 in 80; triplets, 1 in 6400 (80 Ч 80); quadruplets, 1 in 512,000 (80 Ч 80 Ч 80); etc. (Hellin's law).
