ideokinetic apraxia

ideokinetic apraxia
ideomotor apraxia inability to carry out movements that are part of normal activities when requested, in imitation of a demonstration, or even when the person spontaneously wishes to do them. The name is derived from the older concept that ideas were not linked to movements. Called also transcortical a.
