masticatory apparatus
the organs and structures involved in mastication, including the teeth and jaws and their supporting structures, temporomandibular joints, mandibular muscles, accessory facial muscles, tongue, lips, cheeks, and oral mucosa together with their innervation. Called also organs of mastication and masticatory system.
