ansa lenticularis
[TA] a small fiber tract arising in the globus pallidus of the lenticular nucleus and extending around the medial border of the internal capsule to join and mingle with the fibers of the fasciculus lenticularis, some of which synapse with cells in the subthalamic nucleus, nucleus of the prerubral field (field H of Forel), and the zona incerta, and others of which continue to the ventral nuclei of the thalamus.
