tubular adenoma

tubular adenoma
1. an adenoma whose cells are arranged in tubules, as occurs with adenomatous polyps of the colon, some fibroadenomas of the breast, and androblastoma. 2. androblastoma (def. 1). 3. the most common type of adenomatous polyp of the colon, usually seen in middle-aged to elderly people; its tubules are highly variable in size and often occur singly, although small and large groups of tubules are also seen. Its potential for malignant transformation is uncertain.
