sphe·ru·lin (sfērґu-lin) a skin test antigen prepared from spherule-endospore phase Coccidioides immitis organisms; it detects almost all persons who are coccidioidin-positive, as well as a group of coccidioidin-negative persons with previous C. immitis exposure. Cf. coccidioidin.
